"A quarter chicken box." I told the clerk when I walked in Oporto.
"Chicken breast or thigh?" the clerk asked.
"Thigh." I replied.
"Chips as side?" the clerk continued.
"Yeah," promptly replied, "ah! wait..." I recovered from autopilot mode in a half second. I looked up the calorie chart on the menu. "Err, tomato salad," I changed my order.
After settling down in Sydney for two months, my weight has reached personal record. City life is so convenient that I do not need to cook. This may be the result of dinning out everyday. Those meals often come with a lot of noodles/rice/chips. I consumed too much carb.
What else can I do? I go swimming 7 times a week, but cannot stop breaking the record. I do not think I can swim 8 times a week. I have no option but quit sweets and cut down the carb I consume.
To be continued...
